Problem with importing a block for Basler Camera

Hi, I have a problem importing the interface for the basler camera. I get this:

Error: Unable to load package C:\Program Files\Intempora\RTMaps 4\packages\rtmaps_basler_cameras\rtmaps_basler_cameras.pck: third party dependencies may be missing (.dll/.so/.dylib files).

I have installed Basler pylon 8.0.1 complete installation, including SDK.
I am using the latest interface version 1.7.0.1
What file is missing? Where should it be located?

Hello,

The Basler pck 1.7.0 was built using Pylon 5.0.12
There is an experimental pck on the update site testing (basler.pck 1.7.0.1) which uses Pylon 7.3.0.2, windows only

The default library location i.e C:\Program Files\Basler\pylon 5 works fine but you need the correct version

thank you for instructions, unfortunately I couldnt get it to work. I am using windows 11 64bit, thank you for the instructions, unfortunately I couldn’t get it to work. I’m using windows 11 64bit, for pck 1.7.0 I used Pylon 5.0.12.11830 in the folder …\pylon 5.. and the same error. The PylonViewerApp application does not work with Win11.

I also tried pck 1.7.0.1 and pylon 7.3.0.27189 in the folder …\pylon 5. and …\pylon 7. and the same error.

Could some other file be missing?

Hi Tomas,

You can use the Dependencies tool to check dependencies for an RTMaps package. There is an article about this topic on the Intempora Support website.
